Paris Travel Tips

The main difference Paris offers to other great capitals of the world, I think, their buildings and architecture have been carefully restricted and therefore one can generally always see the sky where ever you can. Paris has all the bustle of the capital, less hectic London for example. There is always time for cooling, which in my opinion the French are not very good. The French also appreciate the beauty and ensure generally that reflects her womenthemselves and their appearance - to the delight of men, no doubt.

If you're an art lover, a trip to Le Louvre. The much discussed pyramid is an eyesore for some, for others a careful fusion between the old and the contemporary debate, but not least. Once in the Louvre, you can admire the works of art, including the famous Mona Lisa, which is surprisingly small. I was very surprised when I saw it. A little 'speech, soas very small. Quite ironic really. Weirdness can aside, The Louvre is one worth visiting. I personally do not spend hours on each piece of art, so I mounted around the entire show in less than a day. If you like things fast, you may need several visits to suit itself.

If you already have an ethos and religious art, then the Sacre Coeur the place to go. You need a lot of course, if appropriate, since they are walkingis a powerful climb to reach. inspired Once there, leaving the fresco ceiling is beautiful. As beautiful as all the heavens on a clear sunny day. The blue sky is amazing. When I paint, I never do that to get as vivid colors on my palette. Yet, a house of God, one would expect something bigger. C'est la vie. Obviously Notre Dame is of religious interest as well - which is not so good - more disturbing if you ask me -perhaps frightening. Still, worth a visit just to see the gargoyles and the stories work of art within its walls. It is a bit 'frightening - dark and gloomy - but probably has more to do with low light conditions.

If you're in the mood for love, or history, what better way to spend an afternoon by the Seine. Relax, sit back and enjoy the view. The guides are very informative and another great way to see the capital.

Any way, these are my favoritesPlaces in Paris, but after just behind the Arch of Triumph, the Catacombs, Montmartre, Latin Quarter and the Tour Eiffel (Eiffel Tower). Surprisingly, the Eiffel Tower was originally a temporary structure, but has survived amazingly well, given its modest beginnings.
